This school year begins my 20th year at Carson! I began as a teacher in the D/HH program, but have been teaching in a traditional classroom (always first or first/second grade) for nine years. Every year brings its own excitement, own dynamic, own energy to the process of learning and I'm anxious to begin again with our newest group of first graders.

I am originally from St. Louis, MO, but have lived in Colorado for decades! I have three grown sons, two of whom are also teachers in DPS.

When I'm not teaching (or planning and preparing to teach) I prefer to be outdoors hiking, biking or snowshoeing. I enjoy traveling, reading, gardening, and any time in the mountains I can manage to spend there.
